Soaking rain continues, but conditions improve in time for Halloween
Remnants of Vance arrived early this morning, bringing widespread and steady rain across the Panhandle. Soaking rain will continue for the remainder of the day, so keep the rain gear in mind if you have any plans. The rain-cooled air will drop highs down to the upper 50s and low 60s this evening.
Rain chances will decrease early tonight, but chances will remain isolated for the remainder of the night. Lows by Saturday morning will fall to the 40s and low 50s, so be prepared to bundle up extra! Isolated showers will linger through the first half of Saturday, but drier air will arrive in time for Trick or Treating, allowing us to see plenty of sunshine.
Clouds will increase Saturday night, as a system from the West Coast tracks east. The low will bring cloudy skies and a small rain chance on Sunday, but rain chances do turn isolated to scattered Sunday night and Monday. Conditions look to dry out on Election Day, but the skies will remain mostly cloudy, with windy conditions.
