Wet close to the work week

We’re starting Friday on a humid note with plenty of low-level moisture, keeping skies mostly cloudy across the region. Temperatures are holding steady in the 50s and 60s with light southerly winds.

We’ll put that moisture to good use today as rain showers move in from the south, thanks to an area of low pressure and the remnants of a tropical cyclone. Steady showers are expected across much of the Panhandle throughout the day. While the overall flooding threat remains low, some localized street flooding is still possible in low-lying areas.

Daytime highs will stay in the 50s and 60s, with showers gradually tapering off later this evening and into Halloween
