Crews responding to overturned cattle truck at I-40 interchange

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Amarillo Police Department and Potter County Sheriff’s Office are responding to an overturned semi at the I-40 interchange in Amarillo.

Amarillo police say the cattle truck crashed due to a tire blowout.

As of 5 p.m., the northbound I-27 to I-40 east and westbound entrance ramps and the right lane of northbound I-27 are closed due to a cow on the roadway.

TxDOT says detours are in place for drivers.
