Jason Sillman has spent more than 20 years helping television newsrooms adapt to the evolving world of digital media, streaming and multiplatform news delivery.
A San Diego native, Jason has worked in newsrooms across the western United States, including San Diego, Phoenix, Seattle and Tucson. He began his broadcasting career in 2001 as a marketing intern before moving into news on the assignment desk and later serving as a digital content editor, assistant news director and digital operations leader.
While working in Seattle, Jason launched and produced *Tailgate Live*, an interactive, streaming-only program created when few local stations were experimenting with digital-exclusive live shows.
As Digital Operations Manager for Arizona’s Family, Jason oversees the technical strategy and execution behind digital programming, livestreaming, publishing workflows, SEO and the station’s website, mobile apps and connected-TV platforms. His work includes *True Crime Arizona Live*, *Generation AI* and *La Familia de Arizona*.
He also created and launched *Arizona’s Family Video Vault*, which transforms memorable footage from the 3TV and CBS 5 archives into nostalgic online videos. Jason helped develop the station’s digital livestream studios, an initiative recognized with a regional Edward R. Murrow Award for digital innovation, and completely rebuilt Weather Now, its automated 24/7 streaming weather channel.
