BOISE CITY, Okla. (KFDA) - Severe storms have caused downed power poles and outages across the Texas Panhandle and Oklahoma Panhandle.

Amarillo, Texas

Thursday night, the Xcel Outage Map showed 10 outages impacting over 400 customers. As of 11:30 a.m., only 22 customers remained without power.

Collingsworth County, Texas

In Collingsworth County, Greenbelt Electric Cooperative Inc. outage map shows 342 customers without power.

Wheeler County, Texas

In Wheeler County, Greenbelt Electric Cooperative, Inc. says they have successfully backfed power to its substations.

At this time. there are still currently over 500 meters turned off.

The company says it has lost at least nine transmission structures.

Crews have worked through the night to restore power to residents.

Boise City, Okla.

Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc. says the company was working on assessing damage from downed power poles in the Boise City area.

Crews are on-site and working to assess the damage and begin repairs.

At this time, power has been restored to Boise City and Felt area, but restoration efforts are still underway for the rural area west of Boise.
