School and business closings due to extreme temperatures

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The extreme temperatures have caused some school and business closings for Monday.

The storm has also impacted businesses for the weekend.

Below is a list of business closings:

• Access Fire and Security will be closed Monday except for emergency
• Acts Community Senior Center will be closed Monday Jan. 26.
• Allergy A.R.T.S will be closed Monday Jan. 26.
• Amarillo Bone & Joint Clinic will be closed Monday Jan. 26.
• Amarillo Botanical Gardens will be closed Monday.
• Amarillo Family Physicians Clinic on Coulter will be closed Monday.
• Amarillo Headache Clinic will be closed on Monday.
• Amarillo Heart Institute will be closed Monday Jan. 26.
• Amarillo Medical Specialists Physician offices will be closed Monday Jan. 26. The urgent care will open at 9:00am
• Amarillo Montessori Day School is closed Monday Jan. 26.
• Amarillo Nephrology Associates will be closed on Monday.
• All Amarillo Public Library locations will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26
• Amarillo Wesley Community Center will be closed Monday Jan. 26.
• Amarillo Zoo will be closed through Monday, Jan. 26.
• Brady Dental Group will be closed Monday Jan. 26.
• The Better Business Bureau of Amarillo & the Texas panhandle will be closed Monday, January 26th due to the inclement weather. Services remain available and team members will be available from 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM to assist consumers and businesses.
• BSA Health System outpatient clinics will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26

• Caprock Canyons State Park says the comfort station bathroom water is off, and those restrooms will be closed during the ice storm. Lake Theo & Wildhorse campgrounds will be closed Jan 23-26.
• Cardiology Center of Amarillo is closed Monday Jan. 26.
• Cenikor Foundation is cancelling all in-person services for Monday.
• Central Baptist Church is closed Monday and will reopen Tuesday.
• City of Amarillo facilities will be close on Monday except essential services.
  • Solid Waste services will operate on a modified schedule
    • Monday residential and commercial routes will be serviced Tuesday, January 27
    • Tuesday residential routes will be serviced Wednesday, January 28
    • Curbside service will not be available Monday
    • Brush sites and the City landfill will be closed Monday and will reopen Tuesday, January 2
• The City of Canadian will close City Hall on Monday, Jan. 26.
• City of Canyon will close non-emergency services and facilities. This includes City Hall, the EDC, City Main Street, Municipal court, and Canyon Area Library.
• Cheer Texas will be closed Monday, Jan. 26. Both recreational tumbling classes and squad practices.
• Children’s Healthcare Associates – Suites 200 and 2001 will be closed on Monday.
• Dailey Recovery Service will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26.
• Deni Berry Care Options LLC office will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26
• Donley County Senior Citizens meal delivery will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
• Dr. Aubrey Smith’s office will be closed Monday, Jan. 26.
• Dr. Crossnoe’s office will be closed Monday, Jan 26.
• Fort Sumner Magistrate, De Baca District, and Roy Magistrate Courts in the Tenth Judicial District will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26
• Golden Plains Community Hospital Walk-In Clinics will be closed Monday January 26.
• Heal the City Free Clinic will be closed Monday, Jan. 26.
• High Plains Rehabilitation will be closed Monday.
• Hope Choice will be closed on Monday.
• Interstate Batteries is closed Monday Jan. 26 for Amarillo & Lubbock.
• Jenning’s Counseling and Associates will be closed Monday Jan. 26.
• Medical Center Eye Associates will be closed Monday.
• New Beginning’s Preschool will be closed Monday Jan. 26.
• Northwest Texas Healthcare System will have various locations closed because of weather. Closures listed below:

• PILC has canceled services for Monday Jan. 6. Services will be available via ZOOM.
• Portales Public Library will reopen at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26.
• Potter County offices will be closed Monday Jan. 26.
• Quail Creek Ear Nose & Throat Center will be closed Monday.
• Quay District Court will have a two-hour delay on Monday.
• Randall County offices will be closed Monday Jan. 26.
• Region 16 sites and campuses will be closed Monday Jan. 26.
• Royal Architectural Products will be closed Monday.
• Sante Fe Federal Credit Union Amarillo, Borger, and Pampa branches will be closed Monday Jan. 26.
• Swisher County Senior Citizen Home Delivered Meals program will not be going out today.
• The Social Security Office in Amarillo and the Pampa Social Security Office will be closed Monday.
• T-Anchor Flea Market is closed for the weekend.
• Texas Parks and Wildlife offices will be closed Monday Jan. 26.
• The Bridge will be closed on Monday.
• Tide Cleaners will be closed Monday.
• Treehouse Children’s Academy Coulter & Hillside locations will be closed Monday Jan. 26.
• City of Tulia will be closed Monday January 26.
