Make sure you bundle up as you head out the door this morning, as lows have fallen down to the 30s and 40s! While we are not seeing any wind gusts, there is a slight wind from the north, bringing wind chills down to the low to mid 30s for a lot of us. The skies are mostly clear early this morning, and that’ll be the story for the rest of the morning.
Aside from a low shot at rain Saturday, the forecast for the region is looking drier compared to what we've seen lately.
A low-pressure system is dragging a cold front across the Panhandle this morning, bringing colder temperatures, windy conditions, and drizzle. These conditions will persist through the afternoon hours, but conditions will improve this evening!
We’re waking up this Thursday morning to mostly clear skies and chilly temperatures in the 40s. A cold front is beginning to push southward through our northern counties early this morning, bringing stronger winds and a few showers. Most of us, however, will stay dry. The front will quickly move through the Panhandle over the next few hours, bringing a surge of wind to much of the area. Gusts of 30 mph or higher will be possible during the first half of the day.
Sunshine will continue to be the theme for the rest of the day as temperatures top out in the mid-to-high 60s, with some clouds continuing to move in. Overnight lows will be in the upper 30s and low 40s.
