Ken Urker, Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s ex-fiancé, found dead on his birthday, reports say

RACELAND, La. (KPLC/Gray News) - Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s ex-fiancé Ken Urker was found dead in Louisiana, according to several reports.

He was 34.

A source close to the family confirmed his death to People. TMZ was first to report the news.

Urker’s brother Dylan found him unresponsive in his home on Thursday, which would have been his birthday, TMZ reported.

The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office said officers were called to a home in Raceland around 6:15 p.m. and found Urker dead, according to People.

According to People, Urker’s sister went live on TikTok Thursday night, confirming his death. She said his last words to her were “I love you,” People reported.

Urker and Blanchard were engaged from October 2018 to August 2019 while she was still in prison for her role in killing her abusive mother.

The two later rekindled their romance in April 2024. The two welcomed a daughter, Aurora Raina Urker, that same December.
