All Things Ag discusses WT Researchers new USDA grant

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) -In today’s edition of All Things Ag we spoke with Dr. Emilie Baker about the recent USDA grant she won.

Dr. Baker is an assistant professor of animal science in the Department of Agriculture Sciences at West Texas A&M University.

This grant will be used to explore new avenues of research into costly liver abscesses in beef cattle.

Dr. Baker’s study was one out of 19 projects that were awarded.

She received $595,000 in grant money.
