All Things Ag explores the cattle market with a Panhandle producer

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - In today’s edition of All Things Ag, NewsChannel10’s Leah Jamieson spoke with Jeff Lewter, a local cattle producer, about the current cattle market.

Lewter gives advice to younger producers trying to get into the cattle business right now.

“Find a mentor, start small, and don’t think you have to own all the land. Keep equipment cost at a minimum. You do not need a brand new F350 King Ranch pickup truck and a new stock trailer, etc,” said Lewter.
