AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - In today’s edition of All Things Ag, NewsChannel10’s Leah Jamieson spoke with DeDe Jones from the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center in Amarillo.

Jones is a Senior Extension Program Specialist and she shares with us the outlook on crops in our area.

Jones also explains the current market prices for producers and how the drought has impacted our area.

Jones also adds that, “Producers will be paid on 100% of acres, there is no adjustment. Also, farmers will receive a payment as soon as they sign up, not in April. Most producers around here have already gotten their Bridge payment.”
