DPS: 2 arrested after joint human trafficking investigation in Randall County

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Officials arrested two people following a multi-agency human trafficking investigation involving massage parlors in Randall County.

The Texas Department of Public Safety, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) conducted the joint investigation on three massage parlors.

DPS says the investigation focused on identifying and distrupting operations tied to human trafficking and the commercial sex trade.

60-year-old Zhi Zhi Luna of Amarillo was charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution.

56-year-old Zhen Li Parr of Amarillo was charged with promotion of prostitution.

DPS says both Luna and Parr were booked into the Randall County Jail.

The case remains under investigation and other charges may be pending.

DPS says there is no other information available at this time.
