San Jacinto at ground zero for a sweep through on Project Clean-Up
AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - We’re almost five months into the new year, and already the Project Clean-Up crew has amassed thousands of pounds in dump destined trash and debris.
It was a handful for the Fuller and Sons crew, traversing a few of the alleyways and streets in the San Jacinto neighborhood.
Some of the items in the alley: a desk, bed frame, headboard, footboard, mattress...lions, tigers, bears, oh my.
All kinds of stuff headed to the dump, about a house full. But upon review, the crew found something it didn’t plan on — bed bugs.
Smartly, the crew took matters into their own hands with a heavy dose of aire to rid those nasty critters.
This clean up was not without heavy lifting either.
If you know of a neighborhood that is in need of our attention, let us know here.
As we head into the warmer months, more of us are donig construction or cleaning. Please remember the roll offs in city parks and the libraries are for residential use, not commercial.
Remember, it takes all of us to make Amarillo beautiful.
