Project Clean-Up: Sweeping up Lawndale

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Project Clean up was at it again, this time in the Lawndale area doing their magic.

This time though, mud from recent rain made it a tough go.

Who thought it would rain so much that it would make it tough sledding on this clean-up?

The alleys between Pittsburgh and Lawndale were slippery for the crew. So after some deliberation, they decided to cut it short, but not before finding the usual: mattresses, box springs and other assorted throw-aways.

All in all, the Fuller and Son’s crew did what they could. Only one trailer load was dumped at the roll-off at the east library.

Another day to make Amarillo that much cleaner.
