Project Clean Up: Beautifying the San Jacinto neighborhood

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The march is on to continue going into Amarillo neighborhoods and cleaning them up.

The Fuller and Son’s crew rolled into the San Jacinto neighborhood again and found one area that really needed some help.

The wheels have come off of this Project Clean Up. It was all hands on deck in the San Jacinto Area, where the Fuller and Son’s crew found plenty to haul away to the roll-offs at San Jacinto Park.

Some of the usual items were found in this clean up, like mattresses and box springs filling the trailer.

The crew found several hotspots off of Southwest 3rd, the alley between Tennessee Street and the park near the elementary school.

There was no rest for the weary for this project, so the recliner found was of no use to the Fuller and Son’s crew.

The alleyways along Southwest 2nd and 5th needed attention and the crew didn’t disappoint. They took away several hundred pounds of junk that will have a final destination of the city landfill.

The work was done in the San Jacinto neighborhood. Add another check mark in making Amarillo beautiful!
