Project Clean Up: Beautifying the San Jacinto neighborhood
AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - We are full throttle into 2024 with Project Clean Up! We’ve gone north into The Heights, now we venture back into the San Jacinto neighborhood.
The challenges were many, but the Fuller and Sons crew was again doing yeoman’s work making an impact on this area.
Milling around a dumpster, you never know what you might find! This might be a first for Project Clean Up... the crew came across several feet of barbed wire!
During the clean up along the alleys North of SW 6th between Tennessee and Proctor, there was a full container of tires! Just a reminder, the crew cannot take them, the city dump won’t allow it.
As we followed the crew to another destination at NW 5th near Prospect, the alley was full of odd ball items, like a painting and a car windshield!
And the usual items: mattresses, box springs, a pallet and other assorted roll-off bound debris.
At the roll-offs at San Jacinto Park, the unloading process began.
Lumber, a couch, loveseat, dresser, all no longer junking up the alleyways.
All in all, another quality Project Clean Up executed by the Fuller and Sons crew striving to keep Amarillo beautiful!
Remember, it takes all of us to keep Amarillo beautiful!
