Project Clean Up: Setting the bar high for 2024
AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - If we were to pull out a crystal ball and look ahead, we’re predicting a big year again for beautifying Amarillo.
2024 figures to be even more amazing than last, and last year the Fuller and Sons crew loaded up over 150 tons of debris from several parts of the city thanks to Project Clean Up.
That number included over 30 Amarillo neighborhoods. And the great part about that? Project Clean up plans to keep on cleaning.
The crew will be back in the city alleyways and streets and expanding into new neighborhoods. We’re calling it “The Big Clean with Big Plans for 2024.”
There is no question, after what we saw in the city over the last year, there is a need to keep the project going forward. And remember, the roll-offs at area parks and libraries are for residential use, so we ask commercial businesses to please dump elsewhere. Project Clean Up appreciates it!
With 2024 unfolding, the Fuller and Sons crew is ready to get at it.
“It’s been a great deal of work, but we’re happy to about this work because we really do firmly believe when the public and private comes together, we can accomplish a lot of amazing things. And the city has been a great partner with us, NewsChannel 10 has been a great partner with us of keeping this awareness up that we’re out here trying to clean up Amarillo. Because when Amarillo looks better, we all feel better and we want to give back to the town that’s given so much to us,” said Jared Fuller with Fuller and Sons Construction.
