Popular frozen pasta sold nationwide at Walmart recalled. Here’s why
(Gray News) - More frozen pasta sold at Walmart stores nationwide is being recalled over listeria concerns, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Last month, the company announced it was recalling two lots of Bettergoods Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine because they may be contaminated with listeria.
That recall now includes all lots of the pasta.
Listeria is a harmful bacterium that can cause serious and sometimes fatal illness in some people, including children, older adults and pregnant people.
The frozen pasta was sold at Walmart stores nationwide in 22-ounce, yellow plastic packages with UPC number 194346442706.
So far, no illnesses have been reported.
Consumers who purchased the recalled pasta are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Additional questions can be sent to sales@giasfoods.com.
