After a fairly active Wednesday night, rain continues to fall across the area throughout Thursday, but severe chances continue Friday.

The City of Canyon joins Randall County in issuing a declaration of local disaster related to severe weather and prolonged flooding.

For the last few days, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has been slightly opening Buffalo Lake Dam. It’s been closed off to the public due to the recent weather.
