Clovis Teens Arrested for Robbery...Linked to Homicide

Two Clovis teenagers are in jail this afternoon on robbery and assault charges.
19-year-old, Larry McClendon and 18-year-old, Anthony Wallace were arrested in connection to robberies in Clovis on January 7th.
According to the Clovis News Journal, the men are also "persons of interest" in a homicide that took place around the same place and time as the robberies.
Emmett Salisbury, 36, was killed Jan. 7 in a small store at 701 E. Grand Ave. by a single gunshot wound to the chest. Medical investigators have placed Salisbury's time of death between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.
The two robberies occured in the parking lot of the store between the 8:00 and 8:30.
Both men are in the Curry County adult detention center held on 250-thousand dollars bond.
Police are still looking for a third man they link to the crimes... 27-year-old Michael England, also of Clovis.
