Man taken to hospital with 'life threatening injuries' after being struck by car
AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - A man is in the hospital with possible life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Amarillo on Friday.
Around 12:36 p.m., Amarillo police were called to the 600 block of South Harrison Street on a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.
A 47-year-old man was crossing the street when he was hit by a 2005 Mercury driven by a 76-year-old woman.
The man was taken to an area hospital.
The incident is being investigated by APD's Traffic Investigation Squad.
