AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - A new Amarillo non profit is cleaning out the former St. Anthony's Hospital.
The St. Anthony's Legacy and Redevelopment Corporation, or SALARC, can't insure the building until it is secured and trespassers are cleared out.

Since the new non-profit has ownership of the building it has been a daily job to board up the windows and inventory what could be salvaged for the historic space.
The old hospital will eventually serve as a facility to bring education, jobs and office space to the north heights neighborhood.
