1 person hospitalized after semi-truck crashes, spills thousands of bottles of vitamin water

AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - One person has been hospitalized after a crash early this morning.

Around 4:30 a.m., officials say a semi-truck was driving westbound on Hollywood Road when the driver fell asleep and did not stop at the intersection where Hollywood Road dead ends into Bushland Road.
The truck then crashed into the bar ditch, spilling thousands of bottles of vitamin water.
The driver is now in a local hospital, and their condition is unknown.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area while crews cleanup the spillage.
