Sunray chief of police arrested for injury to a child allegations

SUNRAY, TX (KFDA) - The Sunray chief of police has been arrested on allegations of injury to a child.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas Rangers were requested by Child Protective Services to investigate 32-year-old Timothy Dean, who is the chief of police in Sunray, for allegations of injury to a child.

Today, the Texas Rangers arrested Dean. He has been booked into the Moore County Jail on one count of injury to a child, which is a third degree felony.

The Texas Rangers, the Moore County District Attorney's Office and the Moore County Sheriff's Office are investigating this case.
