Lockdown lifted on threatened Clovis schools

CLOVIS, N.M. (KFDA) - The lockdown on two Clovis schools has been lifted as of 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to school officials, Gattis Middle School and Clovis High School Freshman Academy were both under Level 1 lockdown protocols.

The lockdown was initiated after threats of violence against the school were allegedly made by a parent.

Clovis police are investigating the incident.
