AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - A traffic stop on Tuesday morning led to the discovery of $348,000 in methamphetamine.

Just before 10:00 a.m., Texas state troopers say they stopped a car traveling east on I-40 near Conway for a traffic violation.

Inside the vehicle, they report finding more than four plastic-wrapped bundles of meth inside a trash bag, weighing over four pounds.

The driver, 45-year-old Candy Crandall of Fort Smith, Ark., was booked into the Carson County jail, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.

Troopers believe the drugs were being taken from Flagstaff, Ariz. to Arkansas.
