More than 5 hour school lockdown lifted in Guymon

Guymon, OK - Guymon Public Schools Superintendent Doug Melton confirmed that Guymon High School and Guymon Central Junior High School were on lockdown Wednesday from 9 a.m. to about 2:15 p.m.
Melton says the lock down took place because there was an incident that happened Tuesday night. The school also said a Crisis Intervention Team helped in the situation.
No more details were given from the school, and the Guymon Police Department is not commenting on the situation.
