One local school opened its door's Saturday afternoon to welcome past students for a special celebration.
Caprock High School celebrated 50 years of education on Saturday.
CHS alumni were present to enjoy festivities which included a fajita cook off, a car show and a mixer.
But, some tell us their favorite part of the day was reminiscing on all of those high school memories.
"I wanted to come back. I graduated here in 1976 and I just wanted to come and see the school and the memories and see if there were any friends out here that were still coming back," Beverly Mumy told us.
"I was gone for 30 years and I just moved back a couple of years ago. It's a chance to see old friends and walk the hallowed halls, which I did a lot of and see the changes. There has been a lot of changes and a lot of new things built since we left," Valary Edwards said.
Hundreds alumni showed up from all different graduating years to celebrate their school's milestone.
