Amarillo, TX - A truck traveling down I-40 caught fire Wednesday afternoon near the Potter - Carson county line.
The truck driver attempted to use his own fire extinguisher to control the flames but the fire got out of hand.
Fire crews showed up to manage the vehicle fire, as well as a small grass fire that started beside the truck.
The highway was temporarily blocked off while firefighters extinguished the flames, backing up traffic. No injuries were reported.
