Penny Kmitt is a weekday morning news show reporter for News Channel 10.

She is from a small suburb outside of Cleveland, OH.

Penny has spent that past four years living and learning in Washington, DC at American University, where she obtained a bachelor's degree with a double major in Journalism and American Studies.

While in college, she interned for Bravo! at NBC Universal in New York City and also spent a semester studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Additionally, Penny has spent the past year being the sideline reporter for The Patriot League Network, providing live coverage for American University's Division I Men's and Women's basketball teams.

When not at the news station, Penny loves taking workout classes and trying new restaurants around the city.

She is so excited to explore Amarillo and share interesting stories with the community!
