I grew up right here in Lubbock and graduated from Frenship High School in 2012. Right after high school, I started at South Plains College where I majored in Sports Broadcasting. During my time at SPC, I had a chance to cover all different types of sports. I was able to work for Fox Sports Southwest when they would come to broadcast the Texas Tech games. I also helped do commentary for Texan radio for the men's and women's basketball games. During my third semester at South Plains, I applied for a job here at KCBD as a Photojournalist. I was blessed to be able to get a job that I always wanted by the age of 19. For the past year and eight months, I worked with the best crew of photographers and reporters in Lubbock, and it was truly the best job I've ever had! Now I'm a senior at Texas Tech University working on my degree in Electronic Media Communications, working my dream job. It's been a dream of mine to work for News Channel 11 and be a Sportscaster since I was 4 years old. I've grown up loving sports and the stories that come with sports. So I can't wait to tell stories about how sports have made a positive impact on people's lives in the Lubbock area, and I would love to tell everyone's sports story.
