Preston is a Sports Reporter and Anchor at NewsChannel 10.
He's extremely glad to be back in the Texas Panhandle to cover sports, having been born and raised in Amarillo.
After graduating from Amarillo High School, he earned his bachelor's degree in Sports Media at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He's currently enrolled in New York University's American Journalism Online Master's program, learning from some of the top journalists in the nation such as Adam Penenberg, Julia Dahl, Andrea Bruce and more.
Preston grew up a massive sports fan, putting on his own fake sports games and pretending to be a play-by-play commentator as early as the age of three. He's a massive fan of football and basketball but loves any chance he gets to dive into baseball, soccer, racing and more.
When he's not at the station, he loves to keep up with all news film, television and the Dallas Cowboys, having previously been featured in popular online publications such as Screen Rant and Inside The Star.
He loves to hang out at local coffee shops and restaurants and engage with the community in any way he can. He encourages viewers to stop him and say hello if they see him around, he'd love to talk sports with you!
