Courtney Tate is one of Newschannel10’s newest reporters.

She is originally from Morganton, NC, a small town located in Western North Carolina.

She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Howard University in Washington, D.C.

Following graduation, she worked in production for ESPN in Los Angeles, and hosted the #2 digital media sports platform called The Fumble.

She is excited to start her career in local television here in Amarillo!

Fun Fact: Sports are Courtney’s passion, and she grew up playing basketball and receiving a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Courtney is passionate about connecting with her community, and she can’t wait to connect with the surrounding community in the Panhandle.
