NewsChannel 10 Sports

Claudia Faust joined the KFDA News Channel 10 team in February of 2020 as the weekend sports anchor/reporter.

Claudia graduated with her M.A. in sports journalism from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and earned her B.A. in multimedia journalism at Florida Atlantic University. Her sports loyalties may seem a bit confusing since they range from the Cleveland Indians and Browns to the Arizona Diamondbacks and Washington Capitals, but she’s lived all across the U.S. and promises to have valid reasons for choosing her favorite teams.

Before joining the team at News Channel 10, Claudia interned for the Arizona Diamondbacks as a digital content creator. She also interned at NBC4 Washington D.C., ESPN West Palm, WPTV and served as the sideline reporter for Florida Atlantic University.

Claudia is excited to try all the amazing food spots in Amarillo and dig her feet into the Amarillo sports scene.

When Claudia isn’t catching up on the latest sporting event she enjoys spending time hiking with her fiance, challenging herself to eat the spiciest thing on any menu or crying over baseball.
