Alissa Spangler was born and raised in Amarillo.
She first began her time with KFDA as a Creative intern through AACAL in 2018. In 2020 she became a Broadcast Producer and produced the 5pm and 10pm shows. A little over a year later, she became one of the youngest Executive Producers the station has ever had.
Alissa has always had a love for sports, so in 2022 she began hosting the Sports Drive show when needed and became Executive Producer for both sports and news. She is a sports anchor and occasionally anchors the weekend newscasts when needed.
She graduated from Amarillo College in 2022 and is now in the process of completing her bachelor's degree at West Texas A&M University.
When she is not at work, Alissa enjoys spending time with her family. Their favorite thing to do together is watch football, whether it’s high school, college, NFL or anything in between.
