Officials investigating after Tulia house fire involved ‘suspicious activity’

TULIA, Texas (KFDA) - The Tulia Police Department is investigating after officials determined a house fire involved suspicious activity.

On Wednesday, December 10 around 12:30 p.m., firefighters responded to a fire at 303 S. Donley Avenue.

Crews found a fire inside the home and grass burning outside.

Once the fire was out, the State Fire Marshal’s Office was called to assist with the investigation.

Officials say the cause has been determined to involve suspicious activity.

The Tulia Volunteer Fire Department shared images of a person of interest.
