AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Amarillo Police Department is warning drivers of flooded streets and barricaded areas due to rain from last night.

Amarillo police said the overnight rain continued flooding in some areas and brought new flooding to others.

As of 3:30 p.m., these streets are currently closed:

  • 26th and Georgia
  • 28th and Mockingbird Ln
  • Mockingbird and Paramount Blvd
  • Mockingbird and Lynette Dr
  • Mockingbird and Linda Dr
  • Mockingbird and Lometa Dr
  • Mockingbird and Janet Dr
  • Mockingbird and Hobbs Rd
  • Mockingbird and Fleetwood Dr
  • Hobbs Rd and Olsen Blvd
  • Hobbs and Western Plaza Dr
  • I-40 and Western Plaza Dr
  • I-40 and Paramount Blvd
  • Wolflin Ave and Virginia Cir
  • Duniven Cir and Church Ave
  • Civic Cir and Blackburn St
  • Duniven Cir and Blackburn St
  • Virginia Cir and Kentucky St
  • Curtis Dr and Britain Dr
  • 27th and Georgia
  • Westhaven Dr and Patterson Dr
  • Westhaven Dr and Lenwood Dr
  • I-40 and Lakeview Dr

Police say they will be giving tickets to drivers who go past barricades.
