May 6 Local Election Results

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Today is Election Day in Texas, and we have the local election results.

Cole Stanley won the Amarillo Mayor race with 75% of the votes. Freda Powell was the runner up.

For city council, place one will be a runoff. Josh Craft received the most votes at 43% and Dean Crump received 33%.

Place two goes to Don Tipps with 84% of the votes.

Tom Scherlen won place three with 58% of the votes.

Place four will be another runoff with Les Simpson receiving 45% of the vote and Claudette Smith receiving 24%.
