Travis Middle School teacher receives $5,000 grant
Married couple, who has worked with the Salvation Army in Texas for years, moves to Amarillo offices.

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - A Travis Middle School teacher has received a $5,000 grant from echo-innovation.
Powell Robin is one of 40 instructors worldwide to receive the grant.
Robin will receive software from the company to help develop new methods to improve learning in the classroom.
A total of 140-thousand dollars of grants were awarded.
