Canyon shuts out Borger 10-0

CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - The Canyon Eagles (9-6, 2-0) remain undefeated in District 4-4A after shutting out Borger (0-2, 6-9) 10-0 on Monday.
Hunter Anderson led the Eagles with 2 hits and 2 RBI in three at bats. Other top hitters include Blade Beaty also adding 2 runs and 2 hits in four at bats and Ben Black contributing 2 RBI, 1 hit and 1 run in four at bats.
Canyon’s starting pitcher Black dished out 9 K’s, allowing 2 hits and 2 walks in four innings pitched. His reliever, Beaty, delivered 3 K’s in two innings.
Up next, Canyon hosts the Dumas Demons on Friday at 5 p.m.
