Loop 335 in Randall County and Claude Highway reopened

RANDALL COUNTY, Texas (KFDA) - Multiple roads in Randall County have reopened after they were closed due to the blizzard conditions.

The South Loop 335 was shut down earlier due to a jack-knifed semi-truck.

The Loop from Washington to Lakeside was also impassable both eastbound and westbound lanes due to the blizzard conditions, according to the Randall County Sheriff’s Office.

The Randall County Sheriff’s Office says the visibility is better, but roads are still dangerous.

The Claude Highway was down to one lane from Pullman to the eastern Randall County line.

The Randall County Sheriff’s Office says this was due to a jack-knifed semi truck and downed power lines.

The Claude Highway was closed earlier from River Falls to the Randall County line.

These have roads have now reopened.

Multiple motorists were stranded in the area due to wrecks.
