State health officials reports 8 new COVID-19 cases in Eastern New Mexico

SANTA FE, N.M. (KFDA) - State health officials reported eight new cases of COVID-19 in Eastern New Mexico counties today.

The report shows seven new cases in Curry County and one new case in Roosevelt County.

The number of deaths of New Mexico residents related to COVID-19 is now 3,753.

Including the newly reported cases, New Mexico has now had a total of 185,898 COVID-19 cases.

As of today, there are 195 individuals hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19.

150,168 people in New Mexico have recovered from the virus.

There are 7,431 positive COVID-19 cases across Eastern New Mexico:

Curry County: 4,934

Quay County: 420

Roosevelt County: 1,840

Union County: 237

There have been 134 deaths related to COVID-19 in Eastern New Mexico:
