AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - After 7.4″ of snow on Tuesday, roads can be expected to be slick across the area today. As we head into Wednesday, cloud cover could break up enough to give us a little bit of sunshine to at least melt the top layers of snow on the ground.

While today is looking chilly, as we should only reach into the low 20s at best, we’re marking the start of a gradual warming trend as we head towards the weekend, with temperatures likely reaching close to 60.

After any lingering flurries and light snow showers leave the area, that should be the end of snow chances for the time being.
