Police searching for suspect in armed robbery

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Police are searching for the suspect in an armed robbery at an Amarillo business last month.

Officers responded to the robbery at a business near Interstate 40 and S. Grand Street on Friday, December 11.

A victim reported that a white man with a heavy build and wearing a grey hoodie came into the store. The man then left the store and returned later with a handgun.

Officials said the man left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was captured on video leaving the scene in a maroon or red Ford Escape.
