AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - City officials said the outpatient infusion clinic for COVID-19 patients has been moved to a new location.

The clinic is now operating at a city-owned location at 509 S. Johnson Street, just east of city hall.

Formerly a tent clinic located between hospitals, city officials said the move will allow for a more convenient environment for patients and staff.

The move will also keep the weather from being a “deterrent for treatment.”

Those eligible for treatment include COVID-19 patients referred by their physician. The infusion treatment Bamlanivimab is the primary medication used by the clinic.
