OLDHAM COUNTY, Texas (KFDA) - DPS officials said a woman was killed in a wreck involving three vehicles yesterday.
At 9:35 a.m., a van was traveling north on U.S. Highway 385 on a curved roadway about two miles north of Boys Ranch.
Officials said a southbound semi-truck attempted to pass another semi-truck but didn’t have enough room. The semi-truck then collided into the driver side of the northbound van.
The van’s driver died on scene.
DPS officials identified the driver as 58-year-old Paula Boyd of Amarillo.
The crash is being investigated by Texas Highway Patrol Troopers.
