Forecast appears to be on track despite the low continuing to trend South. Expect snow to start developing tonight, most likely from the West expanding Eastward. A light to moderate snow will continue during the overnight hours. Pretty much the entire area is under a Winter Weather Advisory for light snow amounts. The last row of Southern counties is under a WINTER STORM WARNING, this is where the heavier snowfall will be possible. Unfortunately since the track of the low continues to move South, it’s very likely the heaviest snowfall will occur in Lubbock & areas further South. Of course with the Doppler radar sites being down, it’s hard to say if a snow band has already developed, it’s very difficult to say how far into the event we are. I’m really relying on your snow reports to help fill in the missing data. Stay tuned for updates.
