High Plains Food Bank announces temporary closure after staff test positive for COVID-19

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The High Plains Food Bank announced they would close temporarily starting today due to multiple employees testing positive for COVID-19.

HPFB said three employees tested positive on Monday, and they are closing under the recommendation of the Amarillo Public Health Department.

The food bank said they plan to asses the situation, make adjustments as necessary and open back up when possible to do so safely.
