PAMPA, Texas (KFDA) - Officers from agencies around the Texas Panhandle can show off their shooting skills at the Top of Texas Crime Stoppers’ Smokin’ Steel Pistol Competition on July 13 at the Pampa Rifle and Pistol Club.
The competition, which is only open to contestants who work in law enforcement, will feature semi-automatic pistols of 9mm caliber or greater.
No optics or steel core ammunition is allowed.
All firearms must be carried in a holster with at least two magazines.
Registration is $40 and begins at 8:00 a.m.
The competition begins at 8:00 a.m. and is open to the public.
Lunch will be served, and a drawing for a Windham AR-15 will be available to enter.
