AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - Potter County commissioners took another step today in order to recover from a computer virus attack that shut down operations for days.
On Monday, Commissioners voted to spend $30,000 on extra computer data storage to help restore more systems.
According to County Judge Nancy Tanner, the county needed it for, among other things, accounting so the county could pay bills in the next couple of days.
The county and district clerks’ offices as wells as the sheriff’s office are still working to get things back to normal.
Tanner said the county is making progress, but very slowly.
